Bio

Possible descendant of the O’Sullivan Beare Clan of the Beara Peninsula Ireland, Paddy has settled in Castlemaine, Victoria. Paddy is a graduate of psychology & part -time social worker. He has been doing theatrical community performance for the last 25 years. He started in street performance & circus arts. Over the last 10 years Paddy has been designing, building & riding exotic bike creations.

In 2010 the  O’Sullivan & Benn Bicycle Emporium was created and is the combined workshop imaginations of Paddy & Matt Benn. The Emporium  is a celebration of bicycle invention and is an eccentric bike workshop/emporium of the1890’s. It first appeared at the 2011 Castlemaine State Festival and travels to festivals & community events.

In 2013 Paddy performed in the Dribbling All Stars, a sporting theatre show at the Club Rooms for the Castlemaine State Festival.  Later that year for the Museum of the Long Weekend Paddy teamed up with Damian Mason to take Quiet the Unwind Wagon on the road to investigate the therapeutic experience of solitude.

Paddy travels the country side performing on his contraptions: the Double Eagle (huge fire fighting trike), the Chopper Shopper (trolley bike), Puny Cycle (50 inch unicycle), Bicycle Ping Pong and as various Steam Punk Super Heroes.
